Enterprise History

Today JSC "Amkodor-Belvar" which is the firstborn of Radio Belarus, specializes in the production of radio-measuring equipment, medical and dosimetry equipment, starter batteries and household appliances, state awards, etc.

JSC "Amkodor Belvar" is a subsidiary business entity within the holding type structure JSC "Amkodor".

Factory quality system is certified according to the European system of international standards ISO.

The high quality of products is provided by a wide range of technologies.

All products are provided with warranty and post warranty service. Currently, in regional centers and major cities of the Republic of Belarus there has been established an extensive network of service centers. There have been concluded ontracts for service and in many major cities of the CIS as well.

At the enterprise there operates an automated system for designing production and analysis planning, based on the use of a powerful modern computer technology, graphic workstations and integrated software.

Highly qualified scientific and technical staff and close cooperation with academic and industrial institutions are the basis for creating of new products based on modern achievements of science and technology. The custom of highly qualified work was molded over the years, during the production of military products with a high degree of reliability in operation.

On the base of the plant "Derevoobdelochnik" there has begun construction of the first radio equipment enterprise in Belarus - Minsk radio plant.

November 6th, 1940

The birthday of Minsk radio plant (demonstration in honor of the start of the plant and production of the first radio item - receivers "KIM", "PIONER").
This day can be regarded as the birthday of Belarusian electronic industry.

February 1945

The beginning of the production of the first post-war items at the plant: aluminum utensils, torches for kerosene lamps, agricultural equipment, plugs and other consumer goods.

February 1946

Minsk radio factory was rebuilt and began to produce its primary products - radio sets "Partisan" and "Pioner".

1950

The start of radio equipment production on Minsk radio plant.

1958

Minsk radio plant was transformed into Minsk Instrument Plant named after V.I. Lenin.

1971

On the base of instrument-making factory there was created Minsk Production Association (ISA) named after V.I. Lenin.

April 1977

The Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for great contribution in the creation, development and operation of new production facilities of special equipment awarded the Association with the Red Banner of Labor by the Decree of April 25, 1977.

1981

The voltmeters B7-29 and B7-30, participating in the international industrial exhibition in Plovdiv (Bulgaria), awarded the Gold Medal and Diploma of 1 degree.

1985 - 1986 years

The association was awarded as the winner of the All-Union socialist competition (the beginning of perestroika) with the red challenge banner and the Diploma of the Central Committee, USSR Council of Ministers, Trade Unions and the Komsomol Central Committee.

1991

Prior to this year the company was assigned to the USSR Military-Industrial Complex and provided supplies for the Ministry of Defense, USSR Navy, that consisted of dosimetry and metrology items, and special purpose machinery.
With the collapse of the Soviet Union underwent a deep conversion plant.

1992

The Intergovernmental Organization named after Lenin reorganized into Belarusian Industrial Association of Radio Engineering "Belvar" (Belaruskaye vytvorchae ab `yadnanne radyetehniki).

1996

The State Enterprise "Belvar.".
Launch of the state awards of the Republic of Belarus.

1996

The company has assimilated the production of the first National Award: "The Order of the Mother" and the Medal "For Meritorious Service." Today, besides the "Order of Mother", there have been assimilated and produced 8 types of medals and honorary titles of 38 items of the Republic of Belarus ("Honored ..." and "People ...").

1996

There was introduced one of the first in the Republic of Belarus Factory quality control system, which is certified according to international European standards ISO 9000.

1997

As a result of incorporation of the State Enterprise "Belvar" there was created Open Joint Stock Company "Minsk instrument-making factory."

October 2011

Open Joint Stock Company "Minsk instrument-making plant" became a part of "Amkodor."
The company changed its name to JSC "Amkodor Belvar" and was also included in the company of Unitary Enterprise "Radian" - Unitary Enterprise "Amkodor-Radian," Unitary Enterprise "Kvadranit" - Unitary Enterprise "Amkodor Kvadranit."
